Deck re-caulking

The traditional teak deck was laid in 2001 and the teak was in good condition, however the caulking had completely failed. The seams were reamed out by hand to preserve the 4-5mm narrow joins. Cotton caulking was hammered into each seam to give it some rigidity then Teak Decking Systems (TDS) was used for caulking. This then sat for 2 months before the excess was chiseled off and the deck sanded. 2 deck planks were repaired with Dutchmen where the old wood had cracked.
